Rakvere maistvaid frikadelle võid kasutada suppide, kastmete ja hõrgu liharoa valmistamiseks. Keeda frikadelle u 10 minutit. Kastmes kasutamisel prae frikadele õlis. Liharoa valmistamiseks prae frikadelle võis või õlis, maitsvaima tulemuse saamiseks lisa vett või puljongit ning hauta frikadelle kuni valmimiseni.
